I was just watching the Rangers pregame and they said that the Rangers dont like the new edge jereyus and are going back to their old jerseys.

Unrelated but damn that girl doing the anthems had a great voice. Real power and clarity, not the breathy start, screaming finish you often get with anthems.

The PA announcement said she's 12. My brother said they have been announcing her age as 12 for like 2 seasons now. Haha. She did sing well, but she had a strong accent or something because she was pronouncing her Rs very strong which doesn't normally happen in songs.

What exactly did they say? Are you talking about a complete reversal and a return to the 'sweater'? That would be awesome but I can't see it happening. They might have just been talking about the modification of the hem line so they had a straighter cut like in the pic posted in the other thread.

I just hope they re-alling the diagonal 'RANGERS' on the jersey so its back to how it was. Other than that I may be in the minority but I dont mind the tighter cut of the jerseys.

It's more vertically alligned and clearly off center. I think because i'm comparing to how it was it seems a lot worse than it might actually be, but after watching all the games they look rediculous.

The extra hem makes Rangers jersey look like diapers. All of the other jersey that no longer have stripes look like oversized tee shirts, THEY SUCK. It is a way for RBK to eliminate cost on jersey manufacturing, less material cuts, less overall cost. And I did hear RBK is changing the material for some pro jerseys. I heard that the guys sewing name and nunbers are having problems with the new material, let alone a sweat issue for players.

Yes, there is an alternate version of EDGE that is Airknit in the front and sleeves. Available to any NHL player who wants to switch out of the current one.
