The Wings played Ericsson last night, 6'5" & 225 lbs. He looked good and could have some potention, especially if he can pack on about 15 lbs of muscle.

Because the Red Wings tend to go with a little bit of youth and a whole lot of "wise" players.

They also don't usualy trade a lot to get guys at the deadline. Campbell, Boyle, etc.. are going to get a lot back for their teams.

Even though it's paid off for them, they gave up a good chunk for Chelios. Then again they also get Larry Murphy-like deals as well.
