thegongshow13 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 just curious if anyone has used this stick and on another note has anyone dealed with CCM warranty returns. For example, I have a bonk curve in an 85 and I want an ovechkin curve in a 75, would they do this for me or would they say no and give me the exact same flex and curve (I know bauer doesn't care, I sent back a 77 and got an 87 and my friend sent a ONE90 back and got a ONE90 grip because he asked for one)So anyways, if anyones used it i'd like to know how it feels, shoots, etc.Only reason I am considering it is because I have a chance to get it for a price. I've had my eye on this particular stick for a while now, and the only reason I didn't get one was because the price is a little up there, and I've gotten sticks for cheaper that I have liked. Once again, it's a little early to judge, but if I had to, I'd say it's the best stick I've ever used. I use a LOT of flex, and the 75 is basically 100% perfect for me. The long taper on the bottm really does help you load the puck easily and (no pun intended) CATAPULT the puck off your stick.. Sounds like a lame marketiting campaign, but it's truly what the stick does..I never have a bum shot with this stick, and my only problem is that if you get slashed or anything, the stickers start to come off...this bothers me mostly cause i think its got good decals and it's a good looking stick. So to wrap it up, i would really reccomend this stick. Others say it breaks really easily, but that is mostly always not a problem for me.If anyone doesn't feel like reading my realllly long review here :P or has questions i didn't talk about, just PM me. Pats 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 Myself included along with two others have sent back 10.0's and gotten back RBK 7k's so probably not to answer you're question as it's doubtful you'd get a 10.0 back even. By the way of the sticks sent two were Lemieux's and one was a Recchi.

thegongshow13 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 yeah screw that, what I was gonna do was get an old v130 for like $120, break it and send it in, but not for a sickick, I've used one and I hated it.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 Its reasons like that why we pay a premium on composites. BTW that is fraud and it's illegal.
colt45 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 Its reasons like that why we pay a premium on composites. BTW that is fraud and it's illegal.no it's not...if he breaks an old model, the company doenst make that one anymore, so they send him the new one.Happened to me with my SL...originally i wanted it just so i could get a replacement SE, but after using it, i actually liked it...they sent me back the wrong pattern on the replacement too

It's the intentional braking of a stick and sending it back that's mail fraud and that's a federal offense in the US. Regardless of the model you break, they're still sending you a replacement stick that they otherwise wouldn't have sent.

I've heard that they are out of the old 10.0's and for some reason they aren't sending out the new ones for warranty replacement.
thegongshow13 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 who said I was intentionally breaking it? that sticks a peice of shit so when it did break I would send it back.and the reason we play a premium on composites is because companies know we will.
echi24 1 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 i don't break many sticks, but i remember easton asking me to send a copy of the receipt, and they would send a replacement of equal purchase value. i bought a sicore grip for 150 back in the day, and when it broke i was hoping for an SL but i was offered an ST instead. luckily my LHS offered to replace it with one off the rack
