NBH one90 elbow pads

Recommended Posts

Mobility and protection are excellent. Fit is decent, slightly bulky and I am having an issue with them (mainly the right pad) sliding down if I wear a lond-sleeved compression shirt. With my previous elbow pads (Nike V-10) I never encountered this and expected the grip print on the one90's to keep this from happening. Overall very happy with them. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

All in all, im pretty happy with these pads. I came from the old three piece jofa elbows (9960?) and was a little worried about the different styling of the pad. However, the pads are very protective (the waffle foam on the forearm is excellent). Some good things include: weight(these are very light pads) and drying time(especially when compared to the old jofa pads). Some things that could be improved upon: The straps need to be a little tighter(possibly a different material for the middle strap, it stretches a little too much), and the velcro isnt the stickiest out there. overall a pretty good pad, there probably are some better ones out there, but not a bad effort by NBH.

I have to agree with you on the middle strap, I thought mine were too big and returned them. Tried out the small, I couldnt even strap it so back to mediums I go and I'll just move the velcro an inch or two over to help. I have to say though, best elbows I've personally used.

I'm really happy with mine. Coming from some really old sher woods, I needed to get used to a bulkier more protective pad. The mobility is great, but my right pad tends to slip down, especially if I have been doing a lot of shooting, even though there is the grip zone inside the pad on the forearm. And I agree with you that the straps should be a little tighter and the velcro a little grippier. They're really protective, which was my main concern. I like the forearm coverage. Overall, I'm happy with them.

I think the straps are perfect, I normally wear large elbows and can use a medium one90. That's the reason why I bought these over the S9.

i got the supreme 70's and i LOVE them. i got a skinnier arm so the fit was really good, especially the anchor strap. the only thing i didnt really like was that it was a bit longer than most elbow pads even on a small, so on tighter fitting gloves it was a little restrictive.

I switched to the One90 EP and I feel like I don't even have an elbow pad on! It is amazing for fit/performance/weight. I really want to stress the importance of the correct fit.

I went from V14 and RBK 8K, and I can tell you that the most impressive change was the mobility. If they fit correctly, you can't even tell you have them on.
