Punching Skates

Can someone explain to me the process of punching skates? Will it hurt the durability of them? My skates are really killing the outside of my foot (right before my toes start)

Either a manual punch or with a boot stretcher.

JR, what kind of punch do you have? All I've ever seen were Graf ones.
