flyguy1697 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=jFcTfDuaBxYSorry if this was already posted somewhere. Thought this was rediculous move during the game in a 10-1 win over Denmark. Robin is a prospect of the Isle's I believe but don't hold me to that. I am suprised he did the move with ease. I know i've seen a million people do this during practice but never in a game going full speed playing against some of the best kids in the world. Thought I'd share. bruins4777 1 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I wouldn't call it "amazing"
ThePurpleCobra 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 why wouldnt you call it amazing? You don't see that very often
flyguy1697 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I doubt this kid would try it against Canada or US but hey i didnt expect it when I saw him going full tilt around the net. Like I said i've seen many do it in practice, a game is a completely different story.
camhockey16 5 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 the guy is talented to be able to pull that move off in a real game - but i would bet alot of people would go to take his head off for showboating.apparently he felt the need to rub it in some since they were already beating them 9 to 1. I'm not sure when the correct time to do that move is but - would be pretty mad at him if i was on the other team.
bruins4777 1 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I guess its fairly impressive, but I think other goals are more noteable than that. It's the michigan wooo. the other team should feel stupid for giving him that much time and space. It doesn't qualify as "amazing" in my book. I've seen JV ice hockey players pull off the move with ease.

gxc999 7 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 I agree, not particularly amazing anymore. It might've been astounding the first time it happened or even the second, but in a game against who with a 6-1 lead? hm.

nickyb13 9 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 the defense never should have given him that much room.not taking anything away from the move at all cause i agree pulling that off in a game takes skill. however i feel that is has lost its flair after a while, kind of like a new song on the radio, pretty sweet off the bat but when the song has been played 4 times every 10 minutes it gets old pretty quick.bad comparison i know but the best i can come up with at 5 am
mack 44 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 ...and then played that song for over 10 years now. The move does take some skill but you shouldn't have the time to do something like that. Give me time to set it up and I will have a slapper go past you stick-side that bites like a Kevin Brown fastball.
ronnychencharik 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 It was OK. I have to give props for doing it at the WJC. I would give even more if it was against Canada or the Czechs. But it still doesn't hold a candle to when Mike Legg took a shit on Minnesota's chest. That goalie had NO idea what he was doing.

Havok19 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 He did it good.In motion and the D should have seen it coming.I dont have the guts to try it in game cause i am sure i would miss it or somthing.
Dean_ 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2007 It was a pretty nice goal, but he definatly shouldn't of had had that much time to pull it off.
Jordan 13 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 At this point I don't think that there is a single twelve year old player that couldn't do the same thing.
Leafsrok 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 i would say it was "dirty" if i couldnt do it with my eyes closed and hadnt seen an 8 year old on tsn d it about 1000 times.and to pul that off with the game already 5-1 is just unsportsmanlike. if youre up by maybe 2 goals with like 2mins to go in the third, i have nothing against it. when youre up 4 late in the second, its time to put away the fancy stuff and play it simple. dont let anymore goals against, and avoid taking stupid penalties
