TPS Adrenaline replacement blade

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I just broke the blade of my TPS adrenaline OPS. I took the blade out and tried to put a easton z-carbon blade in, but the blade is too big! so I tried putting a tapered blade in but the tapered blade is too small!

So, what kinds of blades will fit in the TPS adrenaline stick? The place where you insert the blade seems to be smaller than normal. Thanks a bunch.

It's a tapered blade, so the Z-Carb will be too big.

The tapered might be small, but not by much. Some folks use some tape over the end of the tenon to help fit the gap. If you need more than a few pieces of tape to make it snug, then you've done something wrong to the shaft.

I have a XN10 Redlight and I broke my Warrior Draper blade.

I just ordered the z-carbon CNT Sakic. Will that fit ok? I was tempted to order the R6, but I don't know too much about it.

XN10 Redlite is a standard shaft...will fit any standard blade. I have a CNT Lidstrom in mine.

how is that working out for you? My Warrior split in the heel a little too quick for my taste.

I love it!

I have two XN10s, and I have a Lidstrom in one and a CCM V120 Thorton in the other. The Lidstrom is square and open, and the Thorton is closed. The Lidstrom is still my favorite for roofing the puck...takes little to no effort. The Thorton is better for stickhandling and puck control.

Anybody know where I can get tapered blades at good prices? =)

What kind? Make, curve, Lie....

Maybe it's just me, but if anything, the Thornton curve had me throwing the puck up over the net and out of play. I honestly don't even think it's closed, IMO, it looked neutral.

Overall, mid-curves probably let you do the most all around, but you might like heel curves more for just shooting.

I would agree it could be neutral...but certainly not open like the Lidstrom. If you like the Forsberg...just go with a CNT Forsberg...then you got what you like!

I recently removed the blade from one of my Adrenalines and I've had a Bauer 7500 and Dolo II tapered blade fit w/out a problem (I used a piece of tape on the tenon of each blade).

i'm using the same combo right now...i used to use a Zcarb sakic for quite a while but i realized i kinda needed more curve from the heel and i started using lidstrom. forget about the curve, RLxn10 and Zcarb is the golden combination, imo.
