This is the Koho XL-1 stick from the early 80s. This and the Titan Turbo were the original OPS. They had a short life as the technology had not caught up to the idea.

I'll put it another way: the XL-1 and the Turbo were the first all synthetic non-wood sticks. They simply were 20 years ahead of their time. Kind of like Jimi Hendrix.

dont know about the turbo, but the XL-1 had a wood core blade. played street hockey with one - no flex and the most slippery mofo i've ever used.
