TPS R8 gloves

sorry to resurrect an old topic, but i was looking online for reviews on the TPS R8 glove and found this. I want to get eagle gloves but they are just too pricey. After reading this thread i might go for TPS's but I don't really understand completely what is going on. I'll try to recap what I think is going on:

TPS R8 Lite= No nylon, better palms (ffh)

TPS R8 Pro= Nylon, lower palm (digitech??)

TPS HGT= NO IDEA, but how do these compare to R8 palm-wise.

I have eagles right now but the palms got holes in them within the first 2 months! I could care less about 10 grams of weight on a glove, but I want to make sure that the palms last and the gloves are durable. Thanks for the help.

PS if anybody has a pic of the red white blue R8 glove that would be much appreciated!

Most HGTs came with a nash palm that had an extra layer laid over the palm.

I have considered repalming. I am kind of just browsing around at gloves right now. I probably was not going to get the HGT's if i had a choice. I've heard the nash palm isn't too great. What is the digi-tech palm like on the R8 Pros?? Is it worse than the FFH on the Regular R8's?? I'm not really a fan of nylon, but what are the pro's and con's to that compared to normal leather??

OK so i found this site with the catalog of TPS. There are three different R8 Gloves, R8 Pro, R8, and R8 lite. Here are the differences.

R8 Pro- Cable knit armor weave, Nash with digitech reinforced palm, COOLTec lining

R8- FFH palm, removable hyperlock

R8 Lite- Same as R8 but with 50/50 Outer shell

I like the Lite, there seem to be good reviews on the FFH palm, and Ive heard bad ones about the NASH palm, but i dunno if Nash w/digitech is better. What is 50/50 outer shell? Thanks for the help!!

50/50 is half portofino (synthetic leather), half nylon.

Question on these gloves (again),

The R8 Pro's (full nylon) are listed as having an anti-bacterial Nash palm. Do the R8 Lite's (50/50) have a similar anti-bacterial feature?

And is there a significant difference in protection?
