I couldn't find any release dates, on the blog it said this winter. Looks like it would be an interesting movie. Apparently they have had some mentions on ESPN, I hope it gets some screen releases!

When I was something like 8 or 9, some guys came knocking on my door asking my dad and I if we would like to be part of a hockey documentary called "The Boys from Minnesota" or something along those lines. Since then I havnt heard any thing about it... I wonder if that has been put off untill now, and that is what this has turned into, Hmm.

I love the quote about how "its part of the way we light our way, through the long, dark Northern winter." Hell, last night I drove past one of the local rinks on the way to my game, and sure enough there were about six guys on the ice. The temp couldnt have been above -5, and with the windchill it had to be below -10.

I had a layover in Minneapolis in February and upon landing, you could see what seemed like 100 individual "rinks" on one pond. Everyone on the plane was talking about it.

I seem to remember this being posted once before. Has the film been delayed? Or is this just some new hype for the DVD release?

i posted about it in Jan. 08 (first post) i think it was in the final stages then. It did the festive thing and now in some theaters and the dvd. I am looking forward to seeing it. The newer trailer on the site seems to have a bit more focus on the tournament.
