liroadrunners 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 so I used the stick for the first time today. it feels good. a little blade heavy. i would estimate the weight to be around 450 grams. puck feel wasnt too great. it feels like a very durable stick. took some slashing and it held up great. i have a game on thursday and friday. I'll keep you guys updated.here are some pics...http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq009.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq008.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq007.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq006.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq005.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq004.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq003.jpghttp://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/l.../cobaltq002.jpg*edited*

cxo 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 They look pretty cool actually. Did they get rid of that horrible vibration problem they used to have in their other models? That was always the biggest annoyance I had with Tour sticks.

gee2626 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 I got my Tour Cobalt Q stick today!! Initial thought, it's well-balanced and has some nice graphics. I got the Yoder (yellow-lime) stick. I'm excited to use it, but unfortunately it won't be for awhile do to my injury. Thanks again Tour!!EDIT: I just checked out the tour website, it's finally updated. TheSnake22 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2008 anyone know if there's a difference between the green and the white version? one would assume grip/non-grip but the website doesn't really say. also does anyone have any pics of the Cernick blade?
gee2626 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2008 There's no difference between the yellow and white stick other than the curve, both are non-grip sticks. The yellow/green stick has an iggy clone while the white one has a modano clone. Also I just received an email from epuck, if you use the coupon code tour0213, you can get 50% off a cobalt q! sdcopp 1 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 Cernick = IginlaYoder = Forsberg/Modano
jw06 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 I think that might be backwards. According to tourhockey.com, the curves are:Yoder = similar to IginlaCernick = similar to Forsberg/Modano
gee2626 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 Cernick = IginlaYoder = Forsberg/ModanoOther way around. I have a Yoder and it's similar to an Iginla.
sdcopp 1 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 then they changed it around, so note on any older sticks the Yoder=Modano
thefelixculpa 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 Epuck.com lists the yoder as the Modano...but I am sure the Tour site is accuratePS. Congrats slippery rock guy above me for clinching regionals. Thanks alot manHopefully we are able to put a team in next year so we can have a couple more insanely crazy gamesHOPEFULLY brockport or vermont blows their last 3 games so we can maybe meet again in regionals this year <_<

Brokensticks 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2008 Does anyone know if the lies are the same? Easton has a 5 lie for the Modano and a 5.5 on the Iginla. I'm just wondering if Tour has the same lies for the Cernick and Yoder or if they are both the same lie. Thanks!
