Patrick67 1 Report post Posted January 27, 2008 I've heard from a source at the local icehockey rink that in the summer time (august) when they start up, it's like 6k/day in expenses.

spjon25 1 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 Form what I know in the South Bay area (Los ANgeles South Bay not San Jose) the small rink I play at rents out for 250 an hour. SOme of the larger rinks such as Toyota Sports Center rent out for 300 and up an hour. Also, this is just for broomball. I have never rented out a sheet for hockey before, but I believe the price would be the same
sitzlejd 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 I'm in Oxford, OH at Miami University (RedHawks #1 currently). As students we can rent the varsity ice for about $70/hour. I think it's about $250 for non-students. The arena is about 1 1/2 yrs old and it's gorgeous.
Jat 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 about 150-200 an hour at my local rink.
theWB 2 Report post Posted February 3, 2008 About $200 to $300 depending on the rink and what time it is here in Connecticut. I was out in Minnesota a couple weeks ago for a pond hockey tournament and it was awesome to see like every park and school had these makeshift rinks with plywood boards. It would be heaven to live there during the winter.
