ind of personal to me as I'm 17 and an M5 is my dream car, but i would NEVER drive one now

You and me both. I love the M5 and M6. My uncle actually just bought an M6 and I got the chance to ride in it and that was enough for me. I will wait till I can buy my own so I can say that I worked hard to be able to afford it. Going to one of the the more premier Private schools in portland I HATE seeing kids driving up in their brand new cars. The other day I even saw some kid in a 2008 Porsch and just wanted to kick the sh*t out of him cause he is the biggest prick in the world.

18 years old and a proud drive of a '99 Tercel. Does the trick, comes with an autostart and a CD player. If I had anything fast, I'd die, I know I'd go to fast and do something stupid. Fast and maturity can go together. I'll wait a few more years to upgrade vehicles.

I've heard a lot of stories like that. Unfortunately, almost every teen does stupid things, and some teens are worse than others.

I think the best cars to "learn" on are about 10-15 years old, slow, heavy, and with airbags and ABS. I learned on my mom's '96 Mercedes E320, which had as much oversteer as you can imagine and handled like a boat. Now driving in a blizzard in a 330xi is a walk in the park.

And this guy walked away!

There are only 200 of these in the world. Now there are 198 since an actor also total one.

400 were made and all of them still exist.

He also did not drive the car off the side of a hill and hit multiple trees on the way down. That crash looked much worse than it actually is because Ferrari's are designed to split at the engine mount in order to preserve the compartment. Not to mention its almost all carbon fiber and titanium.

My buddy is a fleet manager for Unilever. He told me 200. 400/200, doesn't matter to me, I'll never own one. He gets some beautiful cars to demo as a fleet manager. The Mercedes he had last week with the heated steering wheel was nice enough to live in.

There is a lot more to life than the car you drive.

Don't say that to my wife. I'm trying to talk her into letting me buy a 2008 WRX.

I had the 02 WRX when they first came out....with a few tweaks I was pulling 303hp at the cranks. Fantastic car for auto crossing. The 08's are nice....but look too mainstream for a performance car. :(
