ONE 90S OR GRAF G5S WHATS A BETTER SKATE

Recommended Posts

I have a chance to get either skate. Stuck on wich skate to buy. Skated in both th grafs feel more agile, but the one90s feel more stable. Was wondering what you guys opinion was. thanks

You almost answered your own question. It's all about what you are looking for in a skate. Do you want agility or stability? What is more important for the style of game you play. Also I am assuming they both fit you well

You really do feel an incessant need to ride what I say. That's pretty sad, but hey, if it validates anything going on for you then by all means...

Can't comment on 'fit', initial agility feel....but durability:

Both companies have had issues with durability-if you do run into a problem you don't want to have to deal with Graf. Search through threads here on Graf, their customer service on warranty issues is terrible.

Are you talking about top end grafs the ultra G series or just regularly. Grafs are made to have a nice fit and if you like agility you can try that out or swap holders. One90's does have issue with the tendon guard snapping and the blue holder having cracks from too much pressure. One90's are for performance and, will only last awhile. ;)

I side with mack on this one. But if you still can't decide after having skated in both; I was on Grafs before and am on One90's now. Pros and Cons to both but I prefer my One90's. I'm sure that helped a lot.

The life of some skates is directly related to how well you take care of them. I have been on ONE90s since May 2006 and they are in great shape for a skate that old. I do take care of them after I skate. It makes a difference.

Between the 2 skates here, it still comes down to fit. Always has, always will.

I got the Ultra G5s and no durability issues yet, skating 2-3 times a week for a month now no problems whatsoever. The durability issues were on the Supra G5s, not the Ultra G5s

my G5's started breaking down within a few months, the the tendon guard is tearing of and there are big rips in the toungues.
