Lindros curve

Recommended Posts

I switched to the Lindros from Recci. Very similar pattern but the Lindros has more rocker on the bottom and is slightly less open than the Recchi.

Recchi on the left. Lindros in the middle.

what is the curve on the right? It looks like it says pm66? I like it.

It's a wood Quest 2 Team USA blade I bought off ebay. It's supposed to be Naslund. Not sure why the PM66 code is used. It's very close to a Bauer Naslund stick I have.

I like the p88 a lot and I'd say Iginla is the closest to it. With that being said it is not very close.

You could look into Warrior sticks and get a Robataille, they are nearly identical.

Robitaille is a lower lie (5) than the Lindros (6).

IMO and from others experience on the board, a Warrior 5 is closer to a 6. They tend to be labeled about one lie shy of what they really are.

I've used the P88 for a while and I really have a hard time using any other curve. I've tried Easton Iginla but I always end up going back to Bauer sticks. I used the Modano curve from easton a long time ago, but I've had a P88 for probably the last 4 years and it's my favorite curve. Iginla isn't as curved and the blade seems shorter, also the lie is different and for me personally, the Iginla lie makes it so my tape wears down at the heel. Modano/Forsberg is a much straighter curve that's in the heel of the stick, and I have problems dekeing with that curve after using the Lindros for so long unless I use it for a while and get used to it. Honestly, I tried using a Sakic and I can't even shoot with that thing, but I'm really intersted to try the Heatley because it looked pretty close.

I was checking out a Robitaille today, and it looks like it's a little less hook than the Lindros and has just a bit of an extra kink out by the toe. Anyone else notice this? Might be my next blade...

I switched from a Tkachuk curve to a Lindros curve. I definitely have an easier time lifting the puck with the Lindros curve. Unfortunately, I sometimes lose control of the puck while stickhandling or give wobbly passes. I've only been using it for two months, so it may take some more time.

Don't forget that the Recchi is a square blade whereas the Lindros is a round blade.

I've been using the Lindros for the life span of two sticks. I have been happy with it. I think it's a pretty generic blade with it being a moderate mid curve and a neutral face. Im looking to go to a more open face on my next stick but stick with the mid curve just to experiment more

I think the Bauer Lindros is the only pattern to have had a severe mutation since its inception. It started off as a Modano (before there was a Modano) but then started becoming the little ugly thing that it is now.

As mentioned earlier though, the pro Lindros is a pretty little girl.

This explains a lot. I used to use Lindros', and then switched to Modanos because the LHS didn't have any Lindros blades when I needed one, and then the other day I was looking at a Lindros again, and was trying to figure out how I was so wrong in thinking that the Modano was pretty much the same thing.
