Nike Bauer Hockey Pants

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to purchase a pair of Nike Bauer Vapor XX Lite Pants, but have never worn Nike Bauer pants before. I tried them on, and they seem fine for fit and comfort.

Whats the feedback on these pants during game use, or any other Nike Bauer pants?

I tried searching for this topic using "Search" but couldn't find anything.

I have a pair and I like them a lot. I had worn lower end CCM pants until I bought these and they were a giant step forward. They're fairly light and very mobile. The only complaint I had is that I had to make a slit in the legs so they could fit over my shin pads.

Yea, that was my first thought when i tried them on. I'm currently wearing a pair of RBK 5K's with 6K shins, and the top of the shins keep popping out from underneath the bottom of the pant legs...the zipper was nice because it widen the pant.

I would cut the top flap of the shins off, but i've done that before with a pair of RBK 3K shins and the plastic bothered me.

Thanks for the feeback. Much Help!

I have been wearing the XX Lites for about a year and absolutely love them; best hockey pants I have ever owned (came from Missions, Eastons, and most recently Itechs). They are very comfortable and seem to provide a good deal of protection (at least for a beer league). I really like the mesh inserts as well as the grip print which has kept the pants from gradually sliding down during the course of game (and thus requiring suspenders). The Dri-Fit seems to work fairly well and they also seem to have more a fitted cut which I like (purely personal preference). The only feature I see that these lack are leg zippers, which I never used on any of my previous pants, so in all I am a huge fan of the XX Lites.

I wore a pair of these for about half a year. very non restrictive and good fitting pant. again no leg zippers is an annoyance. only real problem i had with them was the belt protection thing that goes around at the waist. it quickly tore and became like 2 spoilers on my sides, after numerous restitching etc i gave up and cut it off. overall performance wise, very nice

I've been wearing my One90 pants for several games now and I absolutley love them. The Supreme 70s seemed to fit just as well, so you might want to check those out too. The One 90s fit great, protect great, and seem pretty durable.

I wear xxxlite pants, i have had them for 2 seasons now. The crotch area is starting to come apart on the threading but i have skated in these pants allmost everyday for 2 seasons so some wear is exspected. I'am looking at getting a pair of 9k's for my next set of pants.
