Fogged up visor problems

Recommended Posts

Searched this couldn't find an answer. Sorry in advance if this question was already asked because I know its a popular one. I am having a hell of a time with fogged up visors. Ive never had one that didn't, and I don't want to move to no visor but Im getting tired of having to wear my visor on my forehead or not being able to see. what do you guys do pregame or even during the game to treat your visors to make them not fog?

Has anyone had better luck with a different brand compared to others?

Just to echo and/or update that other thread, I use the Oakley spray on an Oakley visor with no trouble.

I know there's been talk about the spray spider-webbing or clouding the visors, but I haven't had any problems at all.

Ummmmmmm...........that is because you are using the Oakley spray on the Oakley visor. Use a different brand of spray and enjoy the show.

ive been using the A&R Fogguard spray with no trouble on my oakley shield. does a respectable job, definitely cleans it up well. I used to use shampoo back in the days when I had no money. Make sure you use clear shampoo (or clear-ish, no conditioner/2in1 thing). it works pretty well on a budget.

Have you tried using shampoo on the inside of the visor before you play? Ive found it really helps

Thats the best and actually the safest way to keep visors clean. It also gives your helmet a nice smell, haha. Im serious!

I clean my Oakley visor with shampoo after every couple of ice times. My visor doesn't fog up unless I lift up my helmet or take it off on the bench.
