Pre 1940's, Hockey used to be quite popular in the UK. My grandad played in the 30's and all the equipment came from Canada.

I understand that, but this gear made its way from a war-torn province of eastern Germany to the UK. Amazingly good condition and the original wearer is German not British if you lool at the auction. The

German language part of the auction goes into greater detail.

The gear would make for an excellent conversation piece. I'd frame it up and put it in my den behind some glass..Throw a couple old Northland Crackshot sticks on the wall too.
