Looking to replace my pro stock XXX's

G'day guys, Im looking to replace my pro stock Vapor XXX gloves as Im fed up with the Digital palms dying on me in less then 3 months. Repalming is an issue here as the only guy who will do a repalm in Melbourne is a half wit and does a job that lasts 3 weeks. He also takes 2 months to perform the actual repalm as he has allot of business.

What does anyone recommend as a replacement closest to the fit and feel? Im looking for Nylon flexibility but mainly a tight fit as I have rat fingers.

I seem to have the same kind of hand as you. I went from XXX's to RBK Pro Nylons. I got mine from www.thehockeyshop.com for $102 Shipped and their great. I find that most of the RBK's have a much tighter fit, at least for my hand. Hope this helps!

Give the tps r8 and ccm vector gloves a try. Eagles with the kangaroo pouch are also good but very pricey. They feel rather stiff to begin with though - much like the vapor XX's.

Get some xx. I have found that stretch palm so durable it is just stupid.

get them repalmed at fixitbymail(I assume they can if you're willing to ship them). Nothing is going to fit quite like the XXX. Try ebay for a replacement pair.

try the vector 10.0's, similar fit to the xxx's just not as open around the wrist, great palm as well.

I am not sure how the XXX's fit, but if looking for new gloves, would recommend the NBH 4-rolls. I saw many people on here suggest them and decided to give them a shot, best gloves I've ever had. Good luck with repalming though, if you decide to go that route.

This method I have seriously considered TBL, I'll have to email them and get a quote but as I'd hate to pay big bucks or close too for a repalm if the price is close to a RRP of a new glove.

I have tried the pro 4 rolls, for a session, abit bulky and supposedly they get looser the more you wear them. If things go pear shapped with the repalming I might go this direction as a last resort.

I owned a pair of XXX previously then switched to Pro 4 Rolls and am back with another pair of Pro Stock Vapor XXXs. Fit feels the same IMO. The only difference I found was in the wrist.

UPDATE:

I have since handed my original XXX Pro stock pair off to a friend who beleives she knows a crazy old Russian man near her that will gladly replam my babies by hand! Im not sure what he wants for payment but if he does a good job Im prepared to dig deep.
