NBH Hockey Skate Hierarchy

Recommended Posts

Don't know if anyone knows this, but here goes. I have a question regarding their numbering. For instance, I am on their website right now and in order, the Vapors are 40, 25, 22, 16, 12 and 9. So, the 40 is the top of the line Vapor now. Previously, the 30 was the top of the line Vapor. My question is this, is the old top of the line (The 30), better than the current second best (25).

Does that mean the lowest Flexlite (14) is better thanthe previous top of the line Flexlite (12)?

Just wondering.

Thanks.

the vapor XXX will be a higher end boot than the XXV, but dont let the numbers fool you really. they are pretty much just model numbers. the flexlite 12's are from what i hear the best flexlites made to date. so the bottom end 14's wouldnt even begin to compete with that.

It is definitely confusing but it's easiest just to pair them off as you go down the list, ie 40=30, 25=19(?), etc. It's much easier than trying to compare the numbers themselves.

where it gets confusing is when you try to have the overall hierarchy that includes both Supreme & Vapor lines

would it be

One95, XXXX, one75, XXV, One55 etc or it's just personal preference (hence two distinct lines)?

Supreme and Vapor are different lines. Both have a flagship product and neither is positioned to be better than the other. The reason you're confused is because you're trying to find an answer that doesn't exist.
