Skates have footbeds. Take one out when you try on a skate. Quick way to figure out if you're in the right size. After that you go for fit. Changes from brand to brand, obviously.

One95 sr = $499.99

One95 jr = $299.99

One75 sr = $339.99

One75 jr = $189.99

Sorry, but are these supposed to be the "member" prices from that hockey store (the name eludes me at the moment) in Minnesota?

Yeah, it doesn't seem like $650 is really going to be the prevailing price for the One95. Wonderland Sports at Chelsea Piers in NYC (notoriously one of the most expensive shops I've ever been to) is even selling them for $625. I know thats not like the $500 number from the place in Minnesota, but when you add shipping (possibly a handling charge), baking fees from an LHS, the first sharpening fee from an LHS, potentially a profile or heel lifts from an LHS and you're probably paying close to the same thing, plus you've got someone to service any problems or handle any potential warranty issues.

well shipping is 4.99, so if your looking 499.99 + 4.99 that would mean your paying $504.98. So unless your paying 100 dollars for sharpening and baking, then your saving some money. Now of course I understand that it's nice to buy from your LHS for any issues that might come up, but if your saving near $100, I dont think many people are going to pass that up.

letterman has a flat rate of 4.99

from MN to Boston for 5 is a nice deal

Can't argue with that, I'm certainly no expert on shipping costs, but I would have thought it would cost a bunch more like that (I was thinking the $25 range) I don't know what that place is doing that allows them to sell so cheap. I mean I could understand if they charged you for the membership because they could make up the lost margin through the membership fee. You know, $150 discount off MSRP minus $50 membership is really only $100 discount, or something like that. Anyway, I'm not advocating either angle (buying from them or from an LHS), just surprised they can get away with selling so cheap and stay in business..

just curious how old are you?

The person that said Wonderland in NYC has them for $625. If you got the time call up some of the hockey stores on the island and NJ you might be able to find a pair at the online price in some stores.

Tell that to Grapvine Players Bench Peranis and The hockey shop I might head out to richardson  maybe their bench has some is it still open.

Maybe even play it again sports in Lewisville or the one in Forth Worth I just need some skates to try on it seems all people have left in stock in my 2 sizes are ccms, and they damaged my cartlidge when i was around 10 so i'm never going to put a pair on. Well Unless its a U Skate :D :D :D
