i saw one lying around school and it looked like the actual surface that you stickhandle on was completely warped, i didn't get to use it but i imagine that that would make it hard to use. probably just from getting too hot, i agree with the normal plexiglass and tire idea if you really want something like that.

I ended up making something similar (a bit simpler though)

I used small bands from JumpStretch (purple)

I tried green but it was too much for my wooden device to handle :)

regardless how tight I put bands though it didn't mimic the force fo a good ole pass from a human :)

fury ultimate passer looks good. who using?

I have the Ultimate Passer. I just keep in my room and put heavy stuff behind it to prop it and prevent it from moving. I usually just practice passing, no shooting.

rubber bungee.... stretched it as far as i can, nice and tight... perfect... puck comes back perfect.

my little cousin has the Tape-2-Tape and it's pretty neato playing with it

The pass back is pretty quick, I questioned the durability of the bands but there were always replacements

but for the price of $200, a bit pricey imo

Lots of gear is pricey. Take the Nike Bauer One95 skates for example.
