Mission 120 AG vs. Mission AGX

I've been a long time die hard Bauer skate fan, but I'm not really a big fan of the non traditional boot choices that Bauer now offers.

.....not to debate THAT topic, but on the advice of SO many, I'm seriously looking into Missions. Does anyone know the real world differences between the 120ag and agX? I could spend the money on the 120Ag, but I've always had the "good", but not "best" skates, and I imagine the AGx would suit me just fine. I know the extra $100 in my pocket would suit me just fine!!!! :lol:

They list the features on the website, but between the marketing lingo and trying to switch back and forth between the two models, it's tough to really see a difference. ....-and as of yet, no agx review here on MSH!!!! :P

AGX is a hybrid of the AG and XP fits with slightly downspec'd features.

Essentially it's the low cut of the AG but with added stiffness in the ankle.

One of my issues with a lot of the newer style boots is that they feel TOO stiff. I'd rather tie a soft boot tight, than tie a stiff boot loosely. That make sense to anyone other than me? ;)

....anyhow, with this new found enthusiasm for Mission, I think I'll stick with the AG. B)

You'll also get a wider heel in the AGX... check out the Mission product catalog thread.. Zac was kind enough to answer a lot of questions in regards to the AGX skate.

You will also be looking at a couple hundo difference in price between the 120 & AGX.

if you want to save some money and like the AG.. take a look at the AG100 as well. the 120s, 100's and AGX will all qualify for the stick promo starting in June. if you have any specific questions just PM me and i will be happy to answer your questions. thanx for the interest!

So the stick promo is definitely going forward without a doubt? :)
