Then who was the guy in GTA3?? If I remember correctly the guy in GTA3 was named Tommy, most likely his last name was Vercetti, there for, same guy.

He didn't have a name, just that one girl called him "Fido".

OK SLy, you were right. He had no name, Maria called him Fido. But hey, you can't blame me for trying. "Fido" and tommy looked the same to me, but i guess they're different. My fault and SLy was right.

In the beginning of VC doesnt Vercetti get called by one of the mob bosses from GTA3, dont remeber his name but you worked for him in GTA3, and i think the GTA3 guy told the boss about Tommy, and thats where the games connected. I still dont believe you when you say GTA3 was after VC. Do you guys actually have proof GTA3 was set after VC? If you do I'll shut up but I'm still iffy whether thats true or not.

Vice city was in 1986, GTA3 was present day, probally 2000. It's really not hard to understand.

I found some proof, the first paragraph at this website reads,

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City sought to not only expand on what GTA III was, but also to give it a nice kick in the rear by going back in time. With Liberty City taking place in 2001, Vice City takes place in the 1980s (specifically 1986). This time, the game's story is driven by several characters voiced by Hollywood actors, more than 90 vehicles, more than 30 weapons, several power-ups, and the freedom to explore the entire city by land, air, and sea.
So there you go.

Uzis? Sounds like GTA: Gaza Strip.

Haha, damn. I just got back from there.

Really though, the Israelis all have shortened M-16s and the palestinians have rocks. Didn't really see too many Uzis.

Well rocks and ak-47s, and the sympathy of Europe.

And human bombs. Remember that mission in GTA 3 when you're boxed in and SPANKed up maniacs are chasing you?
