Custom Skates

A friend of mine from Australia wants to order a pair of high end custom skates. He had a pair of One90's custom made, but wasn't too pleased with the build quality. Which companies do custom skates? Do some companies offer more customization than others?

Right now he is most interested in the U+, RBK 9K and One95.

Anyone who has ordered custom skates, please give me some feedback on your experience.

I know people aren't responding to this thread because it is a redundant topic, however I did some searching on here and I could find very little info on anything but Nike Bauer custom skates. Does anyone have experience with other companies? If so, what were they like to deal with?

Sorry to bump the post up so fast but my friend is going to call me from Oz tonight and I was hoping to have some answers for him. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

CCM/RBK and NBH - that's it.

What was his problem with the One90s?

He can order custom skates from within Aus now; Easton, NBH only as far as Im aware. CCM/RBK maybe offered depending on his local dealer. In saying that it is big bucks to do so and he would be better off moneywise ordering through yourself.

His One90's had peeling outsoles on each skate when they hadn't even been skated in yet. The stitch work was shoddy and overall they just looked worse than my stock One90's as far as build quality. I was a little surprised to be honest. The rubber pieces that are around the heel cup had no glue on them at all. You could just peel them back easily. He ordered them through the Hockey Shop here in BC when he was here.
