Can Hybrid blades be heated and curved, or will they crack?

I have a Koho hybrid blade. I was wondering if I can heat it over the flame on my stovetop and put it under the door and bend it, or is it only all wood blades that you can do this with?

Also, how long should I heat it for, and do I need to bend it under a door and hold it for 10 minutes or less/more?

generally its not a good bet with ABS blades. if it delaminates it'll lose all strength.

I've done it with easton hybids, they did crack

You can do it to an ABS one...just don't heat it too much and slowly curve it.

yea if you do it slowly it shouldnt crack..i heated up one last week and put a ridiculous scoop on it just for fun...but i curved it too quickly and it did crack a little and after using it for a while the blade is starting to split

i did recurve a kombo pretty effectively many years ago, but it didnt last very long at all afterwards.
