Girdle Shell

I searched but couldn't find an exact answer. I just ordered the XXXX core pant. I noticed that there are pant shells and girdle shells. What's the difference? Will they both work? Thanks in advance!

Pant shells are larger cut and will fit over a pant of the same size, girdle shells are usually a little smaller. Both will work over a girdle, but you would need to go down a size or so if you put a pant shell over a girdle.

sorry for bringing old topic back, but I had a few slightly different but related questions that I couldn't find an answer to:

there's 3 different NBH girdle shells (supreme, vapor & vapor lite ) all with slightly different design

would they all fit basically the same for different NBH girdles (One90 vs XXXX core pad)?

also I'm assuming the girdle size should be the same as the girdle shell (NOT pant shell) size?

lastly why the heck are these shells so expensive?! $40 for a shell sounds like a lot (and also makes a combination of girdle+shell more expensive then a comparable pant)

If it is a shell designed for girdles, buy the same size as the girdle itself. If it is a pant shell, go one size down. As for why Bauer shells are $40, it's because they say Bauer on them. Buy a different brand and you can save half or more.

Take a look at K1 for shells they are less expensive and the quality is good.

They did a great job on the MSH shells, though we did have the embroidery done elsewhere.
