Hockey soap opera?

I searched high and low but I didn't find reference to this debacle anywhere else on the site.

So I'm channel surfing tonight and I come across a program titled "MVP: He shoots, she scores." I skipped by it, assuming it was one of those chimpanzee sports movies (Most Valuable Primate ). When I cycled past it again, I noticed the info for the show. It's a hockey soap opera. I think it's Canadian cuz I saw some of the chicks (who are brutes by the way) spending what looked like Canadian bills. I gave it about 5 minutes, saw no hockey action, and moved on.

Easily the worst show I've ever seen. I still have no idea how I managed to sit through about 20 minutes of it.

Wasn't making the cut, the one where there was like 30 guys and the top six got a NHL tryout. I liked that one. I saw that MVP. I watched 10 minutes of it. It was possibly the worst show i ever seen other than those Family Channel shows. I gave up after 10 minutes, on like the first or second show that they ever aired when they tied a rope and bucket to the guys testicles, and shot pucks in it. Like common, thats queer, not hockey!

it's not "MVP: He Shoots He Scores". the actual title is "MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives" inspired by the BBC show "The Footballer's Wives" (about soccer).

i wish they'd show less drama and more hockey.. its about 5 minutes hockey and 55 minutes drama. the females on the show are hot though..

The first season of MTC was the one where guys got invites to NHL Camps. The second season, Steelback Brewing and Frank D’Angelo got involved as a sponsor and that one had more off ice stuff and tried harder to be like a reality TV soap opera. Pretty bad.

pretty sure the show you're bothe referring to is Making The Cut: Last Man Standing. it premiered in 2004.
