Where to get heel lifts installed in Toronto, Ont

Recommended Posts

If you grab a small sheet of lexan or some sort of plastic polymer (like the stuff shooting sheets / "fake ice" are made out of), I can make/install them for you at Hockey Experts in Mississauga.

JR,

You're right, lexan will be too stiff and will probably crack, being the same material visors are made out of... but I had a guy come in to have me install his lifts and he said they were a lower-grade lexan. I don't know the truth behind this, but it turned out pretty well regardless. I'll put in an order for a couple sheets through Nash first thing Monday morning.

Thanks for the heads up.

You can find the material at Rona or Home Depot until I get some in from Nash. How many millimetres are you looking to add? I personally had a 3mm heel lift in my skates. I used the material similar to those small sheets of "fake ice" that one can use to stickhandle or shoot at home with. I'd be more than happy to take care of them for you. I'll be at the store Wed-Fri nights, Saturday all day. Drop by if you get a chance!
