Taping the toe of your stick

I cant find the thread in (search forum) that showed discussed how to tape the toe of your stick. Someone please post the link. Thanks and sorry again.

Just keep taping until the toe is completely covered, then cut the excess off with a scissors.

tape it like it is a square toe and make sure everything is covered more then well and trim extra off. very simple

Pull the tape further than you normally would once you get to the toe so you can get it over the excess thats left behind from your previous strip.

I usually put two strips on the toe itself. Then I proceed to tape normally and cover any gap at the end.

I cut off a strip and start from the top of the Toe and go around it all the way until you get to the heel. Then I tape it normal. This also gives you an extra layer on the bottom of your blade and I find it gives me a little more cushion and makes my tape job last longer.

^^ electrical tape works well for that base strip - especially with woodies.

shin tape also works good as a base layer too
