I was just giving an example with hockeymonkey, but thanks for the info, I kinda figured what the insurance was all about, but had to be sure. again thanks, lots of help and info this whole site, really great job

This wont be new info for some of you, but when shipping from the US into Canada, avoid the ripoff companies and always go with USPS which comes in as Canada post. (avoid UPS, Fedex, DHL). I have gotten lots of high duty charges over the years from US online retailers, usually an extra 10 to 30%.
