Fury sells direct

I was wondering what everyone thought about fury cutting proshops and selling directly to teams such as rowan unni

Not a sanctioned program should have been done through the pro shop is this messed up or am I over reacting?

You don't think that Easton and CCM will sell directly to teams?

I mean, if you were arguing that ProShops shouldn't have to compete against sales to individuals (with Fury) I could understand. However, teams?....

Regardless, Fury is likely trying to liquidate it's 2008-09 stock which was already in the pipes before corporate pulled the plug. I've read mixed messages as to whether or not it's going to make a run of it after all, but I have noted some of their equipment making the rounds (around) some of the online places and suspect there could even be some re-branding.

JR could speak up but I suspect it's a touchy subject so this could get locked....

Considering Fury doesn't sell wholesale to storesanymore, I would envision they are just getting rid of old stock.

Easton sells to teams thru pro shops and CCM offers team discounts thru pro shops. I don't see any selling direct in my area.

You are overreacting because you are dealing with a college team. They can deal directly with manufacturers, just like a pro team.

They are sanctioned - they are in the ACHA.

No, college teams buy direct from manufacturers. With sponsored teams, mfgrs are feeding them through the shop, they get the team pricing.
