kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted September 20, 2008 Anyone see it? I thought it was pretty damn funny, but extremely random. Brad Pitt played a funny ass role, and the movie really didn't have a plot. Any thoughts?
mack 44 Report post Posted September 20, 2008 Funny, but very overrated. Yes, these guys made Big Lebowski. They also made Intolerable Cruelty. The best parts were the exchange between the director (J. Jonah Jameson) and Malkovich's old boss (Sledge Hammer).

You don't get to see it often...but he's pretty good when gvien the chance to be funny.
LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted September 20, 2008 I've been pumped to see it for awhile now...but with classes and hockey and trying to squeeze in as much golf as possible before the season ends, I haven't got a chance to get out to the movies. I should be going tonight.

RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 mack...you're right...the stuff between "Sledge Hammer" & "JJ" is the best stuff in the movie. There was a group of older people behind us...who at the beginning when Malkovich is swearing like crazy were going "Oh my!" but by the end they were laughing pretty hard.Clooney and Frances McDormand were good too.Not a fall down laughing kind of movie...but there are enough memorable scenes to make it worth seeing. The fact that we saw it for $6.50 rather than 9.50 helped too.
