i don't think the president keeps all the jerserys he gets. i think they go into some type of presidential collection that tours the nation from time to time. if i'm wrong someone correct me.

The Wings do a father-son trip out west every year.

Wasn't there discussion last year about not allowing teams to do that anymore? I seem to remember that during the Leafs' father trip last year the announcers were saying how many of the smaller market teams were pissed because they couldn't afford to do it. They went so far as to say it was unfair because they claimed big market teams had an unfair advantage, and perks like that could sway free agents.

Wings have their own plane. It's usually like in February or so, Lidstrom used to fly in his entire family in town for like a month.
