Is this a fairly good deal, never tried one and i'm becoming a bigger stick whore every day

Last time a TPS stick went for $30 I snagged it without a second thought. Turns out the Intrigue was a complete waste and I sold it to a guy on the campus club hockey team for $35 around 3 weeks later.

I don't think this is going to be much different.

My buddy used one last week at our game. I always play against Chris, RW on LD. He has a cannon shot. Once I saw him walk in the locker room with that twig all brand new I knew his game would be garbage. He shot wide all night. If you want performance, it doesn't come in a $30 OPS!

I had one, it broke after 2 games and I am not a big slapshot type of player. I wouldn't rate it as high as the Bauer Vapor V3 stick I had that was built to a lower price point than the R5.
