Cracked my S17 Blade Last Night doing One Timers

Hey guys,

I snapped my blade on my S17 last night and I just wanted to mention that I saw Patty Marleau with a Reebok blade inserted into the shaft at the oval area and was just wondering if anyone knew how he did it.

pretty sure his is pro stock, proabaly a repainted s15 or se, not to sure

Marleau uses an Ultra Lite repainted as an S17

I bet we could take a woodie or a carbon with a solid hozel and belt sand it until it fit into the oval. If I have any luck, I'll post it. What a waste, $219.00 last season and I only got 2/3 of a season out of it between last year and this year.

2/3 of a season is pretty good going for a stick IMO, I'd be lucky if I got 2 months out a stick before it turns to wet spaghetti.

Try telling my wife that. I actually liked it better than when I bought it after the shaft break-in.

Depending on how short you like your sticks you can still flip the shaft, i did it to mine and it worked out. I always sand down the top of my stick to make it thinner though as a personal preference .

At least you got 2/3 of your season with it. I just broke my blade just slightly over the 30 day mark

Can't be done, as previously stated, it's a UL with 17 graphics.

For an S17 2/3 of the season is pretty good. Those things snap like twigs.
