Honing Stone Question

I just got a pair of Vector 120's and after my first skate I noticed a spur or two on the blade. Hockey Monkey sells a T-blade shapening stone for $15. Does anyone know if these are any different from a stone I can get at the LHS for less than half the price. I'd imagine I could just use a regular stone on the blade but input from anyone who's purchased the t-blade stone would be appreciated.

get the regular, the only stone you should pay $15 and up for is a diamond stone, which you realy don need for hockey skates, id get a medium coarse stone too, nothing too harsh or soft

I'd get a Miraclestone.

I got one of those t'blade stones and they are heavily coarse. You do more bad than good with it.

Guess I'll get a fine grained one for my t'blades.
