It is a really nice site. Small ad spots for commercials with 480p picture and good sound on a lot of stuff.

They're hit and miss for some stuff, but they had every Always Sunny in Phila. episode, new Heroes, 30 Rock, Sons of Anarchy, etc. Not just the old stuff by any means.

A decent list of movies, but they focus more on TV.

NBC/Universal owns it. This sort of thing is expected to become fairly common now, and was one of the hotpoints of the writers strike, as it was ad driven.

If you go to the "watch whole shows" tab on nbc's homepage, it's the exact same show, ad's and all.

But it's a good collective resource of stuff

I kinda figured it was an NBC affiliate with the way it got show updates at the same time, but takes longer for other networks. Hulu runs a lot better than NBC.com since it doesn't use much flashy graphical jazz, and NBC.com doesn't have a very big back catalog or FX shows.

Crud! :( Not for Canada, U.S. only. I had the same problem with the Masters.

Is there any way to change my ip address?

Find a US-based proxy. Try kproxy.com or something similar.

I hate that country-specific crap. Last time I checked, the web was world-wide and all.

It's an NBC/Fox JV. There was an article in the NYT today about what YouTube is doing to combat the new competition (deal with MGM). Hulu's a great time waster at school, I watched the entire Arrested Development series in a few weeks.
