Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 I don't know if the Vibe is an SMU, I got a Vibe stick too, so they seem to be available in more than one outlet
crazy-luke-finch 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 i wasn't sure if they were SMU's either but i though that was the best way to describe them.

Warriorsdman 1 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 The control isn't a low quality skate because it's an SMU though... it's a pretty good price if you want the RR's on a Vector skate

number21 3 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 I believe I have read on this forum that SMUs can have had problems with misaligned holders.
joshy207 15 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 I believe I have read on this forum that SMUs can have had problems with misaligned holders.I think you're talking about "Seconds". Those are the skates (or other items) that don't pass through Quality Control. Some of the manufacturers have been selling these items on the cheap to the big dealers.SMU means Special Make Up. It's a slightly altered version of a stock product, made specifically for certain stores.Of course, ALL brands and models of skates have had problems with misaligned holders, SMU or not.
