Can you order just the boot with no runner attached, and no holes drilled? I'vebeen having major problems with mine where i swapped the holders to lightspeed 2's. No one in the uk is very proficient at doing stuff like that and i just feel that i would be better off if i got the boot with no holes so i could get them done fresh. For example at the heels of my skates where the Lightspeed holes are and the Cobra holes where they have ripped into one big hole... I've had to re-rivet them 5 times since January...

If you do custom through Graf you can get them boot-only, and I also believe they may put LS2 on for you - don't quote me on that, I know they used to do Tuuk.

i too would consider purshasing graf boots only too. it seems as if they don't take much care in installing the bladeholders and would actually feel more comfortable installing them myself. i would email grafcanada and ask them. it may take a while to get a response though as i emailed them about a defective pair of skates i got and took over a week before i got a response.

Is this a common problem with converting to tuuks with the pre-drilled cobra/rms holes? Since I may be custom ordering ultra g70 in silver and black should I request the boot only? I'm debating the fact that if I put tuuks on it voids the warranty on a $500 skate but I've been using Tuuks forever and if I can't get use to the cobra holder putting tuuks on in the future I may have rivet hole problems like #44wannabe.
