mine are all black.and they ahveblack and silver gloves

Correct, the 2004 synergy is an all new glove it replaced the Z-air this year. The colors are Black, Black/silver, Red/black, blue/white, red/white/navy and Black/yellow.

The "synergy" glove of last year was just a synergy colored easton Air glove (the yellow, orange, silver).

leafrule, I won't tell you what to buy, but before you blindly order Easton Synergy gloves, please bear in mind that they have had pretty bad reviews here on MSH. GloveGuru Geki may attest to that. They seem to be far behind the older Easton gloves in terms of fit and quality.

And: the Synergy gloves run very very small.

I don't quite understand why either. I'm using my Synergy gloves and think they're one of the best top of the line Easton gloves in awhile. I previously used the airs and grew up on Easton gloves as well.

i only buy easton equipment so i dont care about your reviews because i have tried them and loved them. im not blindly getting them i tried a pair and now i want them, im not dumb im not going to buy a glove just because it says synergy on it. B)

So its dumb to buy gloves because they say Synergy on them, but its smart to buy them just because they say Easton on them? Plus, you asked if they were even out yet, but at the same time you had tried them on?

I can't say I liked the feel of the gloves (the index finger seems just way out of place to me, it doesn't close properly). But to be fair, I have not broken a pair in or "heat fitted" them which may make a considerable difference. I'm just saying off the shelf they didn't feel like any of the previous z-air gloves (and I've used every year and pro variation).

I may give them a shot later down the road for S&G's...

I previously used the old Easton 9800s and the 99' and 01' models of the Z-Airs (before the wrist wrap was included on them.) They were some of the best-fitting gloves I've owned.

I bought the Synergy gloves when they came out and I don't think there's any question that they fit kind of small (compared to the Z-Airs). After time, they've grown on me and seem to fit better now. Sweat works wonders I guess.
