Getting my girlfriend skates

What size (womens) shoe do you wear? My girl is a 7.5 in womens and it seems most senior skates start at size 6, which would probably be a little big.

In Australian sizing Im a women's 8. I think they run a size or so bigger than US women's sizing.

Does any of her shoes have a euro sizing on them? From what I can gather euro sizings dont diferentiate between men's and womens. Im a 38/39 Euro.

Its hard when you are between adult and junior sizing. You are right, I havent found a senior skate that is smaller than a size 6. I found there was quite a bit of difference between the 5.5 junior and size 6 senior skate. I found my feet were swimming in a 6, but the 5.5 fit well, but borderline width wise :( (The skate selection in Aust sux, the choice is basically Mission or NB).

I hope this helps, but I have the feeling you will need to take her skate shopping to find something that fits.

But there's so many other factors involved - not necessarily length. Women's feet are different than men's feet, especially in terms of arch and ankle location.

I'm telling you, pair under the tree, come back in a few days and get her fitted.
