Easton SE16 Concern

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I purchased the easton se16 the other day and used it so far for 2 games. I didnt bother to notice before but i realized now that when I shake the blade I hear a weird noise :(. I am aware that there are ball bearings or weight things in the blade. But are they suppose to make a rattling noise? It sounds like they are shifting or loose, is it suppose to be like this? I just want to make sure that the stick insnt broken. Let me know what you think.

Blades with ball bearings, sweet!

Can you imagine how long it would take in time outs everytime someone broke a stick?

so to update the situation, I went back to my lhs and asked them to look at it. Good thing it was still on warranty because the manager told me that the blade seemed like it had some loose graphite or glue in it...something like that. But anyways they let me exchange the stick and all is good now. :)

stick is good. The Focus Weight Technology in the blade and in the top of the shaft makes the stick evenly balanced which is great. so far so good with the new one, shots and passes are amazing. Maybe i just got one from a bad batch the first time. My previous stick was the Warrior dolomite spyne. Little heavier than the easton. Still testing the se16 out. hopefully nothing else goes wrong.

"Come on, fellas, perhaps you need a refresher course. It's all ball bearings these days."

Damn, beat me to it. :P

out of all my sticks i've had so far (8.0.8, one90, xxx, v10), my SE16 is by far my favorite stick, fantastic balance for handling, and getting shots off this stick are simply amazing.
