One95 Shaft

Recommended Posts

I keep reading good things about the one95 ops but I would like to get some info on the two piece version.

i have it with a one95 blade, i have never used the one peice but i love my two peice, its got good feel its a sturdy stick..just recomendation- get a flex lower than usual. On my one peice one90 i bought an 87 and cut it at around 90, on a two peice that is around 100, and they are the same height.

I've recently come across a few prostock one95's and pulled the blades from them. It seems as the prostock one95's use a normal tapered blade, and not the retail standard blades that the stores seem to sell.

Am I doing something wrong pulling the blades, or are the prostock shafts using tapered blades instead of standards like the retails?

I think all ops are tapered, but i am sure someone else can comment on that.

I just got my two piece in the other day and i am using the staal curve (p91a). And I am really enjoying it, also my slap shots get up quick.

I bought one of the one95 blades at the LHS today, and it is def. a standard blade. My shaft is def. a "normal" tapered shaft. Must just be a prostock option or something.

good shaft but durability might be questionable i just broke one higher up on the shaft and a teamate broke one right in the middle they were only used 3 or 4 week at the most but other than that pretty good shaft

so if I use a 77flex OPS, should I go for a Int 67 flex shaft if I go for the 2 piece option?

got mine in an 87 flex with a one95 blade a couple of weeks ago, and I cant complain...pretty good pop with a slap shot, and the overall balance is pretty good for a shaft...the one95 shaft and blade combo is also $40 cheaper than the one95 one piece is you're looking to save some $$$..

I also have the One95 shaft/blade combo, and it's held its stiffness better than my Easton SEs had before. I'm also a stickler for balance, and the pair of One95 components together feels great.

I liked mine for the week I had it until it broke. I thought it was pretty good. Light, performed well and i used a easton hybrid blade in it because i make my own curze with a heat gun. The good thing is if your thinking about using 77 flex they ran out of them so you get a one-piece if yours breaks.

got a prostock one90 and it uses a tapered blade. my guess is that they come in both for the pros. Bauer probably just wants the latest design on their shafts or sticks. I once had an ultralight disguised as a synergy a few years back
