New RBK SC875 Crosby Pump Skate?

Anyone ever seen these before?

Looks like some features of the 9k and 5k skates.

Those are interesting. I've tried on a lot of the other "Crosby," branded equipment in the local sporting goods stores. (It is being pumped into the local Pittsburgh area stores to take advantage of his popularity) The shoulders, elbows, and shins all really feel kind of cheap. I do not know it it is my suspicion of all things that are branded with an athlete's name. But, if the skates follow the protection line... I'll pass.

my buddy was shopping for skates and we went to that store and the sales guy told us it basicly same as the rbk 5 with crosby signature logo added.

I saw these at Sportcheck in TO - seemed almost the same as the 5k - maybe felt a tad heavier (could have been my imagination).

I see these on sale as Sportcheck pretty regularly for $199 - where the 5k (or Talon at some stores) usually sells for $299. So they could be worth a look for that reason.

Probalby to allow more mobility when people wear their shins over the skate.

its just the photo that makes it look low. they are a forzani exclusive(all banners)
