thornton curve

Recommended Posts

I've been using it for about 3 games now, coming from a Perry curve on my TPS Response. Game 1 was a nightmare. I couldn't control any shot or pass and I had no backhand. In fact, I gave up a breakaway goal when I tried to backhand a pass and it went directly to an opponent's stick instead.

But games 2 and 3 have been much better now that I am accustomed to it. I can saucer passes more easily now and my slappers have become more accurate.

So basically, it's a nice pattern but it will take some time to get used to it.

Thorton is much bigger than the Reechi, but is identical to TPS' Sundin curve and Sher-wood's Coffey curve. 3/4 Mid.

Close but not identical. TPS Sundin/Afino opens a little bit more toward the toe, Thornton, unless it was changed really recently, doesn't. Thornton is also listed as a 6 lie but plays like 5.25-5.5, while Afino/Sundin is a true 5 lie.
