SRS shaft/blade fixing?

Recommended Posts

Some prick broke my fav twig on purpose. Somehow we got 2mins each. Anyway......

I've seen this shaft repair on the news a while back. $40 for the service. Anyone try it??

I'll have mine in a few days. I'll report once I get on the ice.

yes I have had it done, and the repair is fine prolly stronger than the rest of the stick, but they have to add material and lots of resin which can throw off the kick point....I am very senitive to this kick point change - So I just had to make it a practice stick.

P.S. Like the saying goes with an older guy who gets injured, "...he is never really the same...." Well same with the stick. Its fixed and its fine, but its never really the way it once was.

I did it on a tapered Hex-1 shaft because I loved the shaft and it broke early on. However, once it got it fixed, I used it in one game and never again. It totally screwed up the kick point along with make the shaft very unbalanced.
