Don't try and put a tapered blade in a standard shaft. Just don't. It's not going to work and it's not safe when that comes flying out at face level. Its one thing if its a tapered/tapered or standard/standard combo that's a spot loose, but I'm thinking you're a little off.

well, I put 5 layers of tape on each side to make my tapered warrior blade have the thickness of a standard blade, then wrapped it tight with one layer, put some glue on it, heated it up and forced it in. To make sure it wasn't gonna fly out easily I tightly wrapped tape at the fuse point, it feels sturdy.

I think Mack stated it best... it's the old hotdog-hallway problem. Get the right blade for the right shaft.
