Good Fabric Marker - Equipment Modification

Recommended Posts

Just picked up brand new NBH 4-Roll from my lhs and i'm in love with it. thing feels like pillows on my hands. Spent a great deal of time debating between the 4-Rolls vs. MIA MB11 vs. Vapor XXXX Pro and in the end I chose the 4-Roll and I don't regret it!

Anyways, I find the Black/White theme quite boring, I wanna color the white parts Red i.e. Blackhawks or Flyers.

Any recommendations on some good quality fabric markers? I don't know how well Sharpie's will hold up if it gets wet, and I don't know of any other brands.

oh, exactly what I've been searching for the last couple days.

I picked up a pair of 4-roll at Sportschek using the Family & Friends coupon ($97 cdn). I was planning to buy a pair of xxxx pro 14" online but decided at sporstchek for the 4-roll (13") to save some dough. Used it right away that night and didn't regret at all. My old Eagle X-50 can finally retire.

Love the Chicago theme too, but my team has Dallas jersey so it won't match. Down the road I may want to black out the four wire hole and the rubber triangle on the roll.

Does anyone do the exact mod? suggestion on what to use? thx

(BTW I used some skate toe paint to black out a logo on my pants and it works. don't know how it works on glove though)

the white rubber spot will not take shoe dye, paint, or sharpie. tried each of them.

if your going for the black out look try black shoe dye.
