mcanadiensfan63 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 i was looking at the easton catalogue and i noticed that they are not producing the synergy elite again. So i was wondering if this means that the Synergy elite will be wicked cheap once the new sticks are released? I currently have a synergy SL and was also wondering how the synergy elite compared to it?
djm 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 The Synergy Elite has been replaced by the SE16. You can find SEs on clearance for $120 or less.

I'll see if I can where and post a link for ya.Edit:Totalhockey has a RH in the Lidstrom curve for 119. That must be what I was thinking of.
Rustpot 1 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 I currently have a synergy SL and was also wondering how the synergy elite compared to it?Biggest difference was the blade. I thought the SE felt a little more solid and forgiving while still having a good reaction, where the SL torqued and flexed a bit more and felt like it had a stiffer core that felt a little more dead. theWB 2 Report post Posted February 3, 2009 Usually the cheaper a store or online site is with closeout stick prices, the less selection with flex and curve they have. If you see them for under $150, they probably have 110 flex left with Lidstrom and Drury, Easton's least popular curves. It's like when the one90 skates were on sale. Some store had them at like $250 but they only had 12EE.

I got a sick deal on the Synergy SL I've been using since the summer (about $75, Forsberg 85) so I really can't complain too much, I'll just wait til I stumble across another sick deal on the perfect combination for me.
